Potential separation of Octave

The Board of Hexagon AB is investigating a potential seperation of Octave, which would encompass Hexagon's Asset Lifecycle Intelligence and Safety, Geospatial and Infrastructure divisions, along with the ETQ and Bricsys businesses.

Octave will be a pureplay software & services business, focused on providing data-driven insights to power more effective responses. In 2024, Octave would have had the following financial profile:

Revenues of ~1.5 BN EUR

Operating margins of ~31%

Please note: all numbers are prepared on an IFRS basis and may differ under US GAAP

The Board intends for the potential separation to take place in the first half of 2026.
